The SetupRobotics screwdriver charges an internal battery bank during spare time moving to and from the screw dispenser and doing other tasks. Therefore no extra cables are needed.
The ScrewDriver uses the ToolBase vacuum for screw pick-up, therefore in addition to steel screws it’s also possible to pick non magnetic screws in stainless steel, brass and other. Feedback to the robot is screw presence (vacuum level) and also screw torque was obtained at end. The two signals are separated when using MODBUS communication. The screwing task setup is done directly on the screwdriver via a LCD keypad.
